LET US CREATE MAN IN OUR LIKENESS AND OWN IMAGE.

Listen keenly child of God, this message will bless you.In Genesis 1;26 - you will understand that you are created in the image of God to be equipped by His divine indwelling!
The holy spirit occupying the  human spirit so that man would manifest the very glory of God!

This glory is not man’s glory but a derived glory that’s exclusively dependent on the glory of God {the owner} within the creature {man}
I want you to understand that the authority that you have on earth today is exclusively from submission to Gods divine authority!

Gods’ ambition is to be seen and heard through you! That’s one key reason why you are where you are today! Gods intention was and is that you and I be the physical, visible expression of Him on earth, manifesting in His glory despite the fact that neither you nor I have never seen him as John puts it in John 1:18.This act which he commanded is called righteousness…without which we cannot be his and He cannot dwell in us!
This morning am reminded and I felt I should put this up here to remind us of who we really are!

CHRISTMAS GIFTS YOUR BEST GIFTS.

“…they fell down and worshiped Him; and opening their treasures they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.” - Matthew 2:11

Giving and Christmas go hand in hand, but have you ever thought about where giving gifts at Christmas originated? Some will suggest giving began with St. Nicholas, commonly known as Santa Claus, but it was really long before St. Nick.

It began with three men who visited Jesus when He was a young child. They were known as wise men, and they brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Gold is the gift for a king, an expensive gift symbolizing belief that Jesus was born to be a king.
Frankincense is the gift for a priest, reminding us that Jesus is the ultimate High Priest, a mediator between God and man.
But myrrh was an unusual gift for a child. It’s a precious spice or perfume used to anoint a body at death. Why myrrh? It was a prophetic gift. Jesus had come to die to be our Savior, to give His life for our sins.

King. Priest. Savior. Three gifts which reveal to us, at Christmas, who Jesus really is. He is the greatest gift we ever had as humankind! From Evangelist Steve Omodecx and the entire Blessed Family Ministry and PRC we wish you all a merry Christmas! Let Jesus be the King, The savior and the priest of your life!

Shalom!

Pride And Sex

Two of the most difficult sins to resist are pride and sexual immorality for both are seductive.
Pride says I deserve it and sexual desire says I need it. Pride appeals to the empty head and sexual enticement to the empty heart.
When desire is fully activated people don't want advice they want satisfaction.

Soak yourself in the holyspirit, Sorround yourself with positive minds and be a doer of the Word!

Salvation is found in no one else...

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

We look around at others and think, “Well, I’m not as bad as they are. I’m pretty good most of the time, so I should be able to get into heaven.” “You see, me and God, we’ve got an agreement. We’ve got things worked out.” Let me make this clear – if you feel you can be right with God in your “own” way, you’re going to get to the end of your life, stand before God, and the vote will be unanimous: you’ll be doomed. All of us are sinners, yet amazingly, God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins – to be a substitute in facing the sentence we actually deserve. So, if we feel like there is any way we can receive salvation other than through Jesus Christ, we are showing blindness to our own sinful ignorance. It’s absolutely appalling to God.

Continue on that course and you’re doomed. But God’s Word gives us some great news. “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”

In the end, will you be doomed or forgiven?

God's closer than the air we breath!

God is closer than the air we breathe.Jesus said ''I am the vine, you are the branches without
me you can do nothing''.Our lives need the power of God.
So many times we think we can do so much
with our abilities. We look so much on our strengths n our weaknesses. But
God said it already,''do it with me'',''i will never leave you nor forsake
you''.Just like a phone,we need to plug into the power of God,His ability.During the day we need to check our levels with God,are we 20%,50%,5%. How much do we take in? Just like with ur phone, sometimes we r needed to carry our chargers,we
can't travel without a charger.For our
journey in life we need the charge;_prayer n word of God to activate power in us.
You may think you r making it in life without
involving God,but be rest assured, nothing lasts without God.The giver and creator of all thats seen and unseen.God is our ABBA father.Abba means source.Sometimes God can
separate u from things n people u depend on most just to remind u
that He is ur Abba_ source.
Sometimes He will stop u from achieving that job u want most coz He sees the end from the beginning,He sees hw u will relate wth Him wen u get wat u want.Never loose ur trust on Abba.Depend on Him n wen u r low,He will recharge u to keep going n make it in life.
God bless you!

Angels Don't Pray, We Pray,They Worship But We Can Pray And Worship!

When our spirit soars to God it is on the wings of prayer. Prayer swings open the door into the dwelling of God Himself. Like the Bible, which is substantially a book of prayer, a church building is basically “a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13). Only human beings can pray. We are unique in this respect. Angels worship, but we never hear of angels praying and prayer elevates us far beyond the animal level. Animals are not people and prayer is not in their nature. A dog sees its master kneeling in prayer but has no idea what is going on. People look up to God, but animals look up only to people. Atheists and uncivilized people can know God, but other creatures are at the farther side of an impassable gulf and do not even know that spiritual things exist.
Prayer is also the wonder gift of the grace of God and our highest natural capacity. No person ever born can rise higher than on their knees before God. Men of genius—Beethoven, Michelangelo and Newton produced immortal work—and all of them prayed. Prayer was their most outstanding performance, coming from their spirit not merely their brain.

Isaiah 29:14 puts it like this: “Behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” This standpoint is reinforced in Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NIV), where we read: “Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord.” We can all move on that plateau, whether we are people of great intelligence or the simplest of mortals.

“The humble also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 29:19).

God bless you.

The Peace And Grace Of God Be With You...

"The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you." - 1 Corinthians 16:33

Paul normally closed his letters by saying, “Grace be with you.” Now it’s interesting that Paul used that particular phrase because he had been a most unlikely candidate for accepting the grace of God. Paul spent his “first” career terrorizing first century Christians. He literally persecuted the church and killed Christians. That was his mission. But Christ appeared to him, saved him, and forgave him. And Paul, perhaps more than anyone who has ever lived, was focused on the grace of Christ because he knows he didn’t deserve to be chosen to be a child of God. And you know what? None of us do! None of us deserve to have the God of the universe go to a cross and pay that awful penalty for us, so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life.

Paul’s salutation reminds us that a thriving church will focus on the grace of God that’s found in what Jesus did for us on the cross. A healthy church will emphasize the grace of God, remembering the price Jesus paid in giving us something no one deserves—forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. And just a reminder, when Paul talks about a “church,”  he is not talking about a building, for the church is not a building – it is made up of ALL of the sons and daughters of the Risen Lord. The church is you reading and receiving this Grace and peace now in Jesus name!

What Really Is Revival

Revival is a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer. It encompasses the resurfacing of a love for God, an appreciation of God's holiness, a passion for His Word and His church,a convicting awareness of personal and corporate sin, a spirit of humility, and a desire for repentance and growth in righteousness.

Revival invigorates and sometimes deepens a believer's faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. It generally involves the connotation of a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God. Revival breaks the charm and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world.

It's The Sick That Need A Physician

ITS THE SICK THAT NEED A PHYSICIAN....

"...It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick." - Matthew 9:12

One of the things I love most about Jesus is His love for all people, even those people many religious folks don’t want to be around. One of those people was His disciple Matthew. He later became one of Jesus’ biographers.

Matthew was one of the last guys you’d want on your team if you were trying to impress good religious folks. He was a crook. He ran with a bad crowd. He was a party animal. But after Jesus reached out to him and asked him to join His team, Matthew was so excited he threw a party for all his wild and notorious friends, just to meet Jesus. And they all had a great time.

But the religious crowd was appalled. They thought, “If Jesus is supposed to be a man of God, why would He run with such a rough crowd?”

Jesus responded, “It’s not the healthy who need a doctor. I came for those who know they’re sinners and need help – not for those who think they’re righteous.”

Don’t you love it? You may be one of those folks like Matthew, and if you are, I hope you’ll remember that Jesus loves you!

My prayer My life

Elijah asked God for fire not a matchbox.
The Israelites looked at Goliath to be too big to kill but David looked at him as too big to miss...

Today I want you to know that the kind of prayer you make in your closet determines the kind of victory you get. If you ask God for rain expect rain.if you ask God for victory expect victory!

If only I can touch his garment

Matthew  9:21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment helm, I shall be whole.

Many times we have tuned our minds to believing that, God can't answer us unless we fast for days, unless we lock ourselves in the closets and cry out our problems to Him. It's not bad to pour it out to God. But in this last month of 2015  I want to challenge you to simply work on your faith. This woman with the issue of blood for 12 years suffered the pain of bleeding and rejection because of her condition. Maybe the pain was so unbearable that she could not pray but just cry...but because Jesus came to have mercy and not sacrifice as in mat 9;13 this woman saw God's Mercy in Christs heart. She said to herself, she doesn't need to be prayed for but just one attempt at touching Christs garment was enough.
In her condition she could not allow circumstances stop her from getting her healing.

Today if only you will come out of your comfort zone, and just Learn how to touch God's heart. He will heal you, listen to you and bless your land.
I challenge you to work on your faith more than your petitions to God.it is by faith that we can please God!

Evangelist Steve Omodecx

We Are Not Human Beings...

We are not Human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
If you know that you are created to worship. Then you must also know that God is a spirit and desires every creature that worships Him to do it in spirit and truth. Understanding spiritual matters is much more than what the normal eyes can see. It demands intimacy with God than the routine Sunday service worship. It calls for a divine walk with God day and night. Until then you cannot experience the True Worship experience!
God bless you.
Evangelist Steve Omodecx

Divine things desire sacrifice

‘Good morning world! This day i wanna speak to you on the Word of God once again; The bible says ’Delight thyself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart’’. Psalm 37:4

Today, we have a clientele of believers who are not committed to anything, not even the spiritual things, and they are not even ready to pay any price but they want results. All they are interested in is quick fix prayer and off they go. It doesn’t work out like that n never will because like I would always say, God will not do for you what you can do for yourself.
Look here! Joshua had just taken over from Moses who was already dead, and the responsibility to take the people to the promised land fell on him. God knew that the only way Joshua could fulfil that desire was to first pay a price by building a spiritual base and developing spiritual muscles. It wasn’t just about praying alone. There and then God gave him a template for good success. The instruction was very clear. The scripture says in Joshua 1:8, ‘’This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written therein, for then you shall make thy way prosperous and you shall have good success. In other words until you stay in the word, you cannot have good success.

Hallelujah!!!Child of God, sustainable blessings comes with a price. You must be ready to do all that is ‘written therein’ before you get the prize. That is the clincher, because there is something written about your miracle. You need to discover it and take hold of it.That same principle is found in Deuteronomy 28: 1-14. Every promise that is documented here are covenant blessings, but their fulfilment is predicated on verse 1 which says ‘’Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God,being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth’’.

Do you really want the prize? Then take a quality decision not to just be a speaker of the word but a doer. In other words, get acquainted with the word of God; study it, meditate on it and do it so that you can develop spiritual stamina against the wiles of the enemy. Beloved friends, I encourage you to know and do the word of God,because it is the truth that you know and do, that will set you free.Amen.I love u all!

Seeds Are Planted Not Buried

#Wordpower for tonight with Evangelist Steve Omodecx

YOU ARE A SEED.... YOU ARE PLANTED AND NOT BURIED
Are you thinking “It’s over, I’m done, I have no future”?.......Are you feeling being buried each day in your situation?...... There is a big difference between being buried or being planted. It’s a mater of perspective. Perception is GREATER then reality. When you put a seed in the ground, you don’t say, ”I’m burring the
seed.” You say, “I’m planting the seed.” ...... No matter what age you are at your life is not over,it's just beginning. Every day is a new beginning. God has no time limits to do things in your life. He has planted you where you are at right now for a reason....find the reason and the purpose, and BLOOM where your are planted!

BE PATIENT,GOD SAYS BE PATIENT!

"He said, 'O Lord, the God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today, and show loving kindness to my master Abraham. Behold, I am standing by the spring, and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water; now may it be that the girl to whom I say, "Please let down your jar so that I may drink, and who answers, 'Drink, and I will water your camels also,' may she be the one whom You have appointed for your servant Isaac; and by this I will know that You have shown loving kindness to my master Abraham.'" - Genesis 24:12-14
There are many stories in the Bible that intrigue me. But this one is especially relevant because we all can relate.
Abraham sent his servant on an important mission: to find a wife for his son. Once he reached the faraway land, the servant paused at a well to pray, asking God to show him a remarkable sign. While not quite in the league with a burning bush, the servant’s request was, nonetheless, pretty ambitious. He asked that the bride-to-be reveal herself by volunteering to water all of the camels he had brought along. Perhaps that does not sound like much of a sign to you, but you may not realize that camels were the SUVs of the ancient world. While they could go a long time without water, when they finally did drink, they could gulp about 25 gallons at once. Ten camels, 250 gallons of water, that’s a lot of trips to the well. It would take a real miracle for a woman to volunteer for such a task!
But that’s what happened. Rebekah walked up while the servant was still praying. When he asked for a drink of water, she agreed and then she added, “I will draw also for your camels until they have finished drinking.” With that, she made countless trips to the well until the camels had filled their tanks. But that’s not the amazing part of this story. Look at what happened next. “Meanwhile, the man (Abraham’s servant) was gazing at her in silence, to know whether the Lord had made his journey successful or not.” You really have to wonder about that guy!
He sounds like some of us. God answers a prayer clearly and quickly. What do we tend to think? Do we wonder, “Is this just a coincidence or did God actually answered my prayer?” Here are some points to ponder:
If God answers your prayer, then He has answered your prayer. Get moving.
If He doesn’t give you the sign you’ve asked for, perhaps He is saying, “No.” or “Wait a while.”
Either way, His purpose is never to confuse or bewilder you. God is never the author of confusion. He just wants us to pray with faith, listen with anticipation, and then act our His will.
God bless you as you listen to his voice.

ACT ON YOUR FAITH

"One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, 'Would you like to get well?" 'I can't sir,' the sick man said. 'For I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.' Jesus told him, "Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!" Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking." - John 5:5-9
Picture this scene: An old man is lying beside the healing pools of Bethesda. He had been sick and paralyzed for 38 years. Jesus walks by and says to him, “Do you wish to get well?” Now come on, could there be a dumber question than that? I mean, for 38 years, people have been carrying him on his mat, laying him there by the pool, hoping he would be healed. Then Jesus comes up and asks him if he wants to get well! Why in the world would He ask a question like that?
Well, it’s brilliant insight about human nature. Jesus asks this question because He knew for 38 years this man had been totally dependent on others. He lived a life of dependency. And if he is made well, he’s going to have to start showing initiative and taking personal responsibility for himself. And that’s why He asks this man, “Do you want to get well?” Jesus could completely change this man’s life.
You see dependency on anything is incredibly addictive. So, how does this man answer Jesus’ question? With classic victimization mindset, he blames someone else! He says he can’t get there because nobody will help him get in the pool. Because of his disability, he is blaming others and seeing himself as a victim. Jesus said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!”
Do you see what is happening? First, Jesus says, “Stand up.” It took a lot of faith to stand up, when he’s been trapped in that paralyzed body. But the man got up. Then Jesus said, “Pick up your mat.” He had to take personal responsibility. He couldn’t depend on others carrying him anymore. And the man picked up his pallet. And then Jesus said, “Walk.” In other words, it was a command for him to leave this life where he had been totally dependent on others. So he began to walk! He left that old life where he had been so incapacitated for all those years to live a new life because of the supernatural healing power of Jesus.
Are you caught in the trap of dependency? Look to Jesus. Through faith, He will give you the power that can change your life, whether you are supernaturally healed or not!
Stay lifted.

ARE YOU TOO BUSY FOR YOUR CHILDREN TO SEE THEM DIE?

When I saw this aired on TV and published on media houses social pages that children aged 12-18 were caught in a club in Eldoret engaging in sexual escapades, doing drugs and chewing khat,my spirit sunk low, its barely 24 hours when I saw my brother Tee Mwangi share a link of young school girls dancing dirty in what appeared to me like a school event hyped by young men probably outsiders.... I then wonder how much we have left our kids vulnerable just to anything and anyone to feed them whatever they feel is right.
Its our responsibility and not just parents alone but everyone to act and save my generation before we loose many to premature deaths,HIV/AIDS and drug addictions.
When i look at that age bracket i feel so sad that to begin with, the sex education in our systems begin with use of contraceptives instead of abstinence and so on n so forth to the point that even the government then introduces the use of condoms to kids as young as 9 years(am not refuting the point that its important they be aware, i think its very crucial that our kids are not taught with such options)....because ultimately growing up with anxiety to experiment, they will know it is all OK to mess around so long as "these things are here for us as cheap as 10/-...."
As a minister and a father to be I will only share one word to all who read this and share with the rest....The only best example we can all apply to help save this mess is by going out there, preach and teach our children in schools and at home. Jesus gave the best example in Matthew 19:14. HE said, 'Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.'"
Parents pushed and shoved their children, hoping the famous man would touch them. His assistants, thinking they were protecting Him from unwanted demands, tried to shoo the kids away, but this important man was indignant with His assistants. He said, “Let the children come to Me.” He took them in His arms and hugged them, and the children loved Him. The man’s name was Jesus. He showed His well-intentioned disciples how important children are to God.
Question: Dad…Mom…do you make time for your children like Jesus did – the man who lived an incredibly busy life, but was not too busy for children?
Very often, a child’s importance is shown when we give a listening ear or a hug, when time is what they want and need. When it comes to your kids, ask the Lord to help you be like Jesus. No job is more important than that; even if you are the Son of God.

GODS DIVINE MESSAGE TO YOU IN THIS MONTH OF OCTOBER:

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

I know so many people, infact everyone needs God, but one thing that i learn this morning by the grace of GOD in this revelation is that in this same quest of needing God, many still don't know how MUCH they need God! Hunger and thirst in this realm speaks of the intensity of our hearts. The weight and undefinable urge to seek God like its the last wish to death!
When we have this type of hunger and thirst — when we feel a burning need in our soul — we want more: We're earnest about seeking God and holding on until that hunger and thirst is satisfied.
Can you imagine being hungry for days upon days, with no food to be had? being thirsty where there is absolutely nothing to drink? You're there for days, thirsting for something to quench your thirst. What would you do? You can't go very long in that state. As a matter of fact you will do anything to get something to drink just to quench your thirst! Oooh Lord!
Now, think of these two words (hunger and thirst) in connection with righteousness. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is to long after righteousness. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is to hunger and thirst after the Lord, longing for more of Him.More and More of HIM and still you need more.
Sadly today we only hunger and thirst when we are faced with issues thats when we seek God,that's when we remember there is a Supreme being called GOD who is the solution to our problems. Its in such times that we can board planes just to go camp at the pastors hotel door when he is on a mission....why? because problems have made us hunger and thirst.
This morning God is placing this word in my heart for everyone, that in THIS MONTH OF OCTOBER,HE IS GOING TO HEAL AND HEARKEN TO THE VOICE OF THOSE WHO WILL HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER HIM...Those who will stand and say "I don't want just something about Him. I don't just want something from Him. What I really want is not a "what" . . . but a "Who." I want Him: I WANT JESUS CHRIST.
Do you really want Jesus? Do you hunger after Him? Do you go through the day thinking about Him? desiring to be a little closer?
This is what God wants everybody to have from today 1st OCT 2015: a strong desire for more of Him. If there's anything God would want us to have, it's a deep, rich closeness to Him.A father-son relationship kingdom relationship!
Only Jesus Christ can truly satisfy this longing for God because HE IS THE WAY TO THE FATHER!I ask the Lord to help me hunger and thirst for righteousness and the kingdom! Now i don't know who i just spoke to,but if it is you,"this is your month of breakthrough if you follow my voice" says the LORD!
AS FOR ME, I AM READY LORD! I AM SET, I AM READY!

JESUS THE FINAL AUTHORITY.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth …and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”     -   Jesus, from Matthew 28:18 & 20

That’s a very bold and defining statement! Who can say that? Who can believe that? Of all the leaders in the world jockeying for position and power, there is One Who has claimed ALL authority ... not just on earth, but in the universe. And for those seeking life on other planets as is in the news of late, He is claiming authority over that, as well. Some say they don’t care or believe that Jesus is the only Way to God. Well, whether one believes water is wet or not still doesn’t change the fact that water IS definitely wet! I’m convinced anyone who adopts that kind of belief system has not trusted in the real fact that Jesus is Who He says He is. Jesus will always prove Himself faithful to those that completely trust Him.

The second part of that passage of scripture reminds us of another profound claim … ”I am with you ALWAYS.” Think about your personal struggles and victories. Difficulties are always easier to shoulder when sharing them with someone else. Victories are always sweeter when there is someone else to enjoy and celebrate with us. To those trusting in Christ, He is there. Period. Not just when we are good or in sync with Him … but all the time … even when our lows are the lowest. I don’t know about you, but I find real comfort and strength in knowing there is someone alongside me when I am fearful, facing a big challenge, or am simply trying to hang on. Jesus Christ is there because all authority is His. Nothing or nobody can change or alter that.

Now His ways are higher than our ways so we can’t expect our safety, health or our circumstances to always be as we would have designed. But we can trust in the sovereignty of God for the big picture and adopt the statement of Paul that “to live is Christ and to die is gain.”After all, to the believer He is our loving and caring Father; all authority is His, and He is always with us.

His authority is for all of heaven and all the earth. This means ALL people for which at some point in time will see that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He indeed is Lord.

Right from the heart.

God bless you

He wasn't complex in looks.

"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him." - Isaiah 53:2b

Have you noticed that our society worships outward appearance? If you’re alive and breathing, how could you NOT notice?  Movie stars are usually good looking guys and gorgeous women.  Musicians are attractive to us just because, well…they’re musicians!  So, when God sent His Son to be the biggest star the world’s stage has ever known, He chose for Him to look very ordinary – not like the beautiful pictures we have hanging on our walls. In fact, according to our Scripture reference today, Jesus wasn’t much to look at. Now, that might be a surprise to some folks as they think about the Son of God, but God sought to identify with the majorityof us. Sure, there are a few handsome men and beautiful women out there, but there sure are a lot more of us ordinary-looking folks!

But that was in His earthly ministry. What does He look like now? The Bible tells us that He gave a sneak preview to His three closest disciples. One day, Jesus led them up high on a mountain, “…and He was transfigured before them; and His face shown like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.”

Someday, Jesus is coming again and we will all easily recognize Him as the Son of God. And more good news for those who trust in Him: we’ll receive new bodies -perfect bodies – that never get sick and tired, that never age and die. Like Jesus, our new bodies will be dazzling, and we ordinary folks will be eternally grateful.

PRIDE IS NOT A GODLY TRAIT

"...pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit and among the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud." - Proverbs 16:18-19

Arrogance is the opposite of humility, and is often displayed in a conceited fashion, which is an unattractive quality. When someone has an over inflated opinion of himself or herself, they often act in an overbearing way that is called arrogance.

Did you know that for every 100 successful people, there is maybe one who can deal with great success and keep his/her head on straight? The temptation to give into prideful arrogance is huge. So how can people blessed with success not be overcome with pride?

1) Remember all good things come from God: talents, abilities, and opportunities.
2) There’s really no such thing as a self-made man. Every successful person had some help along the way.
3) The people with the biggest problem with pride don’t feel they have a problem.
4) We are most like the Devil when we are filled with arrogant pride. We are most like Jesus when we are fulfilling God’s will for God’s glory.

If you are struggling with arrogant pride, seek God’s forgiveness. And if you’ve got any guts, ask Him to teach you humility. It may not be an easy lesson, but you’ll be a better person for it. And the world around you will, too. Let your heart be on fire for Jesus!

YOU WANT TO BE RICH? GODLINESS IS THE WAY

"Godliness is actually a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment." - 1 Timothy 6:6
Would you like to be rich? I guess we all would, but let’s look at God’s definition of “rich.” God’s Word says if you really want to be rich from a lasting perspective, you want to live a Godly life. Now, don’t make the mistake of feeling that you can live a Godly life by trying to be religious, or by trying to be good, or by trying to do all these things you’re supposed to do in church. Realize that godliness is a by-product of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Godliness comes out of growing closer to Christ, so that His Spirit begins to guide and convict us through the Word of God to live a life that is more and more pleasing to Him—to live a life walking with Him.
Godliness is to be our primary goal when it comes to thinking about money and riches. There’s no lasting significance in money, but there is lasting significance in Godliness. God says something like this, “Look, when you live a life of Godliness, this is a life of great gain.” There’s no ultimate meaning in money, but there is ultimate meaning in having a Godly walk with the Lord. You can never lose this. Oh, yes, you can stray from God, but you never lose that relationship with God. It’s eternal! Unlike financial riches, your relationship with God is eternal. It goes beyond the grave, beyond death.
Let Godliness be your primary concern, and out of that will come contentment.

THE MOST AWESOME LOVE OF ALL

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.'" - Matthew 22:36-37

Do you love God more than anyone or anything? Do you love God more today than a year ago? Do you love Him less? Do you love Him about the same? Do you love Christ just as much as you loved Him when you first came to know Him? Nothing is more important than us loving the Lord with all of our being.

So, what does that have to do with WHY we love God? Well, the first thing to realize is that God loves you! God loves you more than anyone on this earth loves you, more than anyone ever will. In fact, 1 John 4:19 says, “We love, because He first loved us.” You see, we love God because He loved us first! And that, my friends, is why we love Him.

In a nutshell, this is Christianity. We love God and love others, but we can only do this when we understand that He loved us first. We don’t naturally love God most. We don’t naturally love others like we do ourselves. We’re all wrapped up in ourselves, our lives, our agendas, and our priorities, yet God keeps loving us. His love never changes.

It amazes me every time I think about the fact that God loved us before we loved Him. And through Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross, we can finally understand that the way to know God is to know Jesus. Then we receive the love of God personally. Our lives are transformed and then we WANT to love God because we truly see that He first loved us!

Has that happened in your life? I hope you won’t let another day go by without experiencing the love of God in Jesus Christ. It is awesome, indeed!

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN PRETENDER?

"Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth." - Job 40:4
This is a special message and it’s one that I didn’t particularly enjoy writing. However, it needs to be said again and again.

This message is to all church-going pretenders out there – the ones who look heavenly on Sunday, but live like hell Monday through Saturday. You look good on the outside, but when God looks at your insides – inside your heart – it’s a dirty mess!

I’ve got bad news for you. Jesus hates religious pretense. But I’ve also got good news. He loves the pretenders! He gave His life for hypocrites like you and me. The end of being a religious pretenders is to admit our sin separates us from God; then ask Christ’s forgiveness; then believe to be right with God is your only hope for change.

And here’s the irony: When we begin to be more real with God and with others, we begin to be more like Jesus. He’s the only person who has ever lived without any trace of pretense.

TESTIMONY TIME: DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL?

"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." - Matthew 4:23
Today as I preached in church with my brothers Erico Otieno andEvangelist Rinei I saw God heal instantly. Frozen legs n hands in pain instantly healed. As I went home God kept reminding me about healing of the body and soul.

The topic of “healing” by God has been and continues to be a hot debate. Yet, in many accounts of the gospels, we see that Jesus physically healed people. As a result of the physical healing, the oppressed, depressed and hopeless were supernaturally cured in more ways than just in their bodies.
Jesus preached about the Kingdom of GOD and healed the sick. In the book of Matthew is full of stories of Jesus healing the sick. But does He still do that today? As the Scripture says in Hebrews, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” There are many skeptics in the world who would say Jesus can’t heal today, but there are millions more who can testify that He does.

The Lord is asking you, “Do you want to be made well?” Whether it be physical healing, spiritual, emotional or financial healing, no thing is too great or too small for our Lord! Perhaps we’ve just forgotten to ask Him and/or we’ve let our faith and trust in Him go by the wayside.
I promise you, He is still healing people today, just as he did over two thousand years ago.
Focus and have faith.

Your Faith Will Triumph - Ev Steve Omodecx

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith(1John 5:4).
Proverbs 22:6 says,“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Imagine that as a Christian parent or a minister of the Gospel, your son or daughter isn’t living according to the training that you gave him or her in the Word. There may be some who’d be quick to judge and say, “So-and-so’s parents are Christians, yet he behaves like a sinner.” If this happened to you as a parent, don’t be moved by what others may be saying.
Challenges come to everybody; so, at the time you’re facing your own challenges, stay focused on God’s Word, and put your faith to work. Soon enough, that child will come into the right place and be all that God destined for him to be. Even the time others might have thought he lost will be regained, because God said, “and I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the Palmer worm…” (Joel 2:25). So in such matters, don’t allow the negative sentiments of others dissipate your faith.

God gave us His Word so that no matter what we see or hear, we’re not distracted; we stay focused. After all, as students, we weren’t Doctors, Lawyers, and Architects whilst in the university. We were in school, being trained for what we were going to be. If someone saw you while still in school and said, “Hey, you don’t look like a Doctor, Lawyer or Architect,” you’d probably have replied, “I don’t look like it yet, because I’m in training for it.”
In like manner, we’re all still being trained by the Spirit of God through the Word to be all He’s destined us to be. If you already have children, keep training them in the Word. Even when it looks like they’re not imbibing the culture of the Word, keep at it. Recall what we read in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Give some time; the results of the training will be evident.
Never give up your faith because of the negative opinions of gainsayers; learn to live by the Word. No matter what you see or experience, your faith will triumph. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, my faith increases as I given myself to the study of your word. I take advantage of the grace that's in Christ Jesus, and to live a life of faith that's based on your word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 2:14

THE BEST GUIDE FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE-Ev Steve Omodecx

"...blessed are they who keep my ways. Heed instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it." - Proverbs 8:32-33
Forget about the teachers strike for a minute and focus here:Public schools or private schools - all schools have gone through and continue to go through a huge paradigm shift. The twentieth century was a time of radical change in our education system, and now in the twenty-first century, the paradigm continues to shift.
The new millennium was ushered in by a dramatic technological revolution. We now live in an increasingly diverse, globalized, and complex, media-saturated society. Couple that with all of the school strikes, cheating by both students and teachers, and now, even questioning the results of some of our schools when they perform extremely well out of the blues or poorly depending on what the society has painted certain schools' performance, then it seems evident that today’s problems are getting worse and growing.
When we hear results like these, we realize the tremendous decline of values in our overall society. From the big to the little people.

I encourage you to look to the Ten Commandments. The fact is, you can’t find better guidance for teaching our children and ourselves how to live a successful life and how to care for our fellow man. So, why not begin by teaching ourselves first then them and the trend will follow to our own grands and great grandchildren? You can find them in the second book of the Old Testament, Exodus 20. Society will be a much better place if we stick with those guidelines.
I thought i should tell you who understands this.

GIVE GOD’S WORD PRIORITY AND SEE GOOD SUCCESS- Jacob Kipkemoi

Joshua 1:8
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
√In life, there is good success and bad success. Bad success is the kind of success which robs you of time with your family, friends and church, and destroys your health and
relationships. With good success, on the other hand, you see prosperity in every area of your life.
√God wants you to enjoy good success and the key to this lies in what God told Joshua when he took over the reins following the death of his leader Moses—“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success.
√Look at how Joshua’s life turned out in the end. When Joshua died, “they buried him within the border of his
inheritance at Timnath Serah, which is in the mountains of Ephraim, on the north side of Mount Gaash”. (Joshua 24:30) Joshua had a whole
mountain for his inheritance! This means that he was prosperous and successful.
√It was also said that Israel served the Lord, not idols or other gods, all the days of Joshua’s life. (Joshua
24:31) This means that while Joshua was around, people were impacted for God’s glory.
√And at the end of his life, a fulfilled Joshua had this to say, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the
Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) Having your family loving God and serving Him with you is the most important success and greatest prosperity that you can ever have.
√Beloved, when God’s Word takes priority in your daily life, not only will your finances be blessed, your
ministry and family life will also be blessed.
THOUGHT FOR THE NIGHT.
Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success.

The Power Of Grace - Ev Steve Omodecx

Grace is an empowerment that releases the gift that has always been in you.
You were born a normal child and u did not know that you are called to be that preacher, that singer, that lawyer until when you began to realize that this is what you wanna do.

By the power of God through grace, you therefore began to pursue that which was in u from conception and even any time you go away from it,there is a part of you that says i need to go back to the what I love, I need to get back to that office, to that church!!! ooh yes!! U got to realize that when we grow from the mere understanding of grace to the application of grace, kingdom mysteries are revealed!!

i feel like preaching!!!!!

LEADERSHIP DOESN'T BEGIN FROM THE PULPIT- Ev Steve Omodecx

Leadership does not begin from the pious/pulpit,it begins from the bench in the congregation.
If as the pastor or leader in church you cannot respect that poor member, that lonely old man, that usher who cleans the chairs every Sunday, that little Sunday school kid who wishes to say hi to you and you snob her off... then you are not fit to be called a leader.
Jesus became the greatest of all leaders ever known because he was down to earth,in humility and full of love for everyone accepted them as they were...
Hey He didn't begin on the pulpit wit the great crowds that followed him,he began in the stinking manger with few cows and his mother and a few herdsmen!! LISTEN: DO NOT DESPISE THE DAYS OF HUMBLE BEGINNING SUCH GOD IS GLORIFIED MORE WHEN U ARE SATISFIED IN HIM....Ooooh Lord its gonna be a powerful weekend i feel it!

GRIEVING IS A PROCESS BE ENCOURAGED- Ev Steve Omodecx

"Therefore, you have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you." - John 16:22
When you lose a loved one, many people tend to sink deep into the dungeons of darkness, and the colors of life fade away. It often makes life so meaningless, and the world suddenly seems to be so barren. Losing a loved one might even bring your life to a halt or make it disoriented.
Some of us have already gone through it, while others will go through this sad phase in life sometime or the other. That’s because death is something that will come to all of us, it’s just a matter of time.
No matter what, losing a loved one or a close friend is never easy, but understanding the stages of grief can sometimes help. Grief involves numbness and denial, promoting an inability to feel when the news of the death arrives, and a sense of disbelief that the person is really gone. It involves tearful emotion as the reality of a permanent separation sets in.
The loss of the loved one can involve anger at God or life as the world continues on when you’re hurting so bad. It can involve depression, or feeling that life is meaningless. Finally, there is acceptance–coming to terms with the loss, and beginning to move on with life.
The grieving process takes time, but it can be overcome. The greatest strength for getting through it is found in the Lord. Remember, God understands your grief. He knows what it’s like to have a child die. He saw His own son, Jesus, die for us all. Loss of a loved one in your life is agreeably the most difficult and traumatic experience. He loves you and wants to help you overcome your grief, if you’ll let Him.
In whatever pain you are going through let God be the final comforter.I am praying for u all. I love u all.

PREACHING IS MEANT TO IMPACT NOT IMPRESS....Pst Kevoh Zeal

The apostles of Christ were not sophisticated or educated men . They were, however, filled with the Spirit. When Peter and John were arrested for preaching and brought before the Sanhedrin, the common consensus was “they were unschooled, ordinary men” (Acts 4:13).
The apostles were simple men. This simplicity carried into their preaching. Paul asserted this when writing to the Corinthians. The city of Corinth was proud, mighty, influential, and educated. Yet Paul wrote in reflection of his first visit: “When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:1,2).
The wise and useful preacher knows the mind of man is not a debating hall, but a picture gallery. The preacher must speak to be understood. Some ministers preach to impress.
WHEN U PREACH TO IMPRESS YOU DON'T IMPACT,IT ONLY LASTS THE MOMENT U ARE ON THE PULPIT AFTER THAT IT FADES AND NOBODY REMEMBERS WHAT YOU DELIVERED AND THAT'S NOT WHAT GOD HAS CALLED US TO DO.THE REASON WHY THE APOSTLES AND THE PROPHETS ARE REMEMBERED TODAY YEARS LATER IS BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO IMPACT.NO COMPROMISE OF THE GOSPEL.
IT IS GOOD TO KNOW YOUR PLACE AND RUN THE RACE TO COMPLETION.NOW EVERY RACE HAS ITS RULES AND REGULATIONS.YOU KNOW YOURS.FOLLOW THEM!

FALSE PROPHETS WILL STILL COME VIDEO - EV STEVE OMODECX (PT 1)

We live in deep apostasy where the church and the world share a lot in common and with this, False prophets have risen and are manipulating the church. It is important for the church to know that the only solution to know the true and the fake is by A REFILL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD who gives discernment. Beware that before the coming of the son of man, many will come in the name of the Lord but they are not from God! Ezekiel 13:6
