GODS DIVINE MESSAGE TO YOU IN THIS MONTH OF OCTOBER:

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

I know so many people, infact everyone needs God, but one thing that i learn this morning by the grace of GOD in this revelation is that in this same quest of needing God, many still don't know how MUCH they need God! Hunger and thirst in this realm speaks of the intensity of our hearts. The weight and undefinable urge to seek God like its the last wish to death!
When we have this type of hunger and thirst — when we feel a burning need in our soul — we want more: We're earnest about seeking God and holding on until that hunger and thirst is satisfied.
Can you imagine being hungry for days upon days, with no food to be had? being thirsty where there is absolutely nothing to drink? You're there for days, thirsting for something to quench your thirst. What would you do? You can't go very long in that state. As a matter of fact you will do anything to get something to drink just to quench your thirst! Oooh Lord!
Now, think of these two words (hunger and thirst) in connection with righteousness. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is to long after righteousness. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is to hunger and thirst after the Lord, longing for more of Him.More and More of HIM and still you need more.
Sadly today we only hunger and thirst when we are faced with issues thats when we seek God,that's when we remember there is a Supreme being called GOD who is the solution to our problems. Its in such times that we can board planes just to go camp at the pastors hotel door when he is on a mission....why? because problems have made us hunger and thirst.
This morning God is placing this word in my heart for everyone, that in THIS MONTH OF OCTOBER,HE IS GOING TO HEAL AND HEARKEN TO THE VOICE OF THOSE WHO WILL HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER HIM...Those who will stand and say "I don't want just something about Him. I don't just want something from Him. What I really want is not a "what" . . . but a "Who." I want Him: I WANT JESUS CHRIST.
Do you really want Jesus? Do you hunger after Him? Do you go through the day thinking about Him? desiring to be a little closer?
This is what God wants everybody to have from today 1st OCT 2015: a strong desire for more of Him. If there's anything God would want us to have, it's a deep, rich closeness to Him.A father-son relationship kingdom relationship!
Only Jesus Christ can truly satisfy this longing for God because HE IS THE WAY TO THE FATHER!I ask the Lord to help me hunger and thirst for righteousness and the kingdom! Now i don't know who i just spoke to,but if it is you,"this is your month of breakthrough if you follow my voice" says the LORD!
AS FOR ME, I AM READY LORD! I AM SET, I AM READY!

JESUS THE FINAL AUTHORITY.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth …and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”     -   Jesus, from Matthew 28:18 & 20

That’s a very bold and defining statement! Who can say that? Who can believe that? Of all the leaders in the world jockeying for position and power, there is One Who has claimed ALL authority ... not just on earth, but in the universe. And for those seeking life on other planets as is in the news of late, He is claiming authority over that, as well. Some say they don’t care or believe that Jesus is the only Way to God. Well, whether one believes water is wet or not still doesn’t change the fact that water IS definitely wet! I’m convinced anyone who adopts that kind of belief system has not trusted in the real fact that Jesus is Who He says He is. Jesus will always prove Himself faithful to those that completely trust Him.

The second part of that passage of scripture reminds us of another profound claim … ”I am with you ALWAYS.” Think about your personal struggles and victories. Difficulties are always easier to shoulder when sharing them with someone else. Victories are always sweeter when there is someone else to enjoy and celebrate with us. To those trusting in Christ, He is there. Period. Not just when we are good or in sync with Him … but all the time … even when our lows are the lowest. I don’t know about you, but I find real comfort and strength in knowing there is someone alongside me when I am fearful, facing a big challenge, or am simply trying to hang on. Jesus Christ is there because all authority is His. Nothing or nobody can change or alter that.

Now His ways are higher than our ways so we can’t expect our safety, health or our circumstances to always be as we would have designed. But we can trust in the sovereignty of God for the big picture and adopt the statement of Paul that “to live is Christ and to die is gain.”After all, to the believer He is our loving and caring Father; all authority is His, and He is always with us.

His authority is for all of heaven and all the earth. This means ALL people for which at some point in time will see that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He indeed is Lord.

Right from the heart.

God bless you

He wasn't complex in looks.

"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him." - Isaiah 53:2b

Have you noticed that our society worships outward appearance? If you’re alive and breathing, how could you NOT notice?  Movie stars are usually good looking guys and gorgeous women.  Musicians are attractive to us just because, well…they’re musicians!  So, when God sent His Son to be the biggest star the world’s stage has ever known, He chose for Him to look very ordinary – not like the beautiful pictures we have hanging on our walls. In fact, according to our Scripture reference today, Jesus wasn’t much to look at. Now, that might be a surprise to some folks as they think about the Son of God, but God sought to identify with the majorityof us. Sure, there are a few handsome men and beautiful women out there, but there sure are a lot more of us ordinary-looking folks!

But that was in His earthly ministry. What does He look like now? The Bible tells us that He gave a sneak preview to His three closest disciples. One day, Jesus led them up high on a mountain, “…and He was transfigured before them; and His face shown like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.”

Someday, Jesus is coming again and we will all easily recognize Him as the Son of God. And more good news for those who trust in Him: we’ll receive new bodies -perfect bodies – that never get sick and tired, that never age and die. Like Jesus, our new bodies will be dazzling, and we ordinary folks will be eternally grateful.

PRIDE IS NOT A GODLY TRAIT

"...pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit and among the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud." - Proverbs 16:18-19

Arrogance is the opposite of humility, and is often displayed in a conceited fashion, which is an unattractive quality. When someone has an over inflated opinion of himself or herself, they often act in an overbearing way that is called arrogance.

Did you know that for every 100 successful people, there is maybe one who can deal with great success and keep his/her head on straight? The temptation to give into prideful arrogance is huge. So how can people blessed with success not be overcome with pride?

1) Remember all good things come from God: talents, abilities, and opportunities.
2) There’s really no such thing as a self-made man. Every successful person had some help along the way.
3) The people with the biggest problem with pride don’t feel they have a problem.
4) We are most like the Devil when we are filled with arrogant pride. We are most like Jesus when we are fulfilling God’s will for God’s glory.

If you are struggling with arrogant pride, seek God’s forgiveness. And if you’ve got any guts, ask Him to teach you humility. It may not be an easy lesson, but you’ll be a better person for it. And the world around you will, too. Let your heart be on fire for Jesus!

YOU WANT TO BE RICH? GODLINESS IS THE WAY

"Godliness is actually a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment." - 1 Timothy 6:6
Would you like to be rich? I guess we all would, but let’s look at God’s definition of “rich.” God’s Word says if you really want to be rich from a lasting perspective, you want to live a Godly life. Now, don’t make the mistake of feeling that you can live a Godly life by trying to be religious, or by trying to be good, or by trying to do all these things you’re supposed to do in church. Realize that godliness is a by-product of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Godliness comes out of growing closer to Christ, so that His Spirit begins to guide and convict us through the Word of God to live a life that is more and more pleasing to Him—to live a life walking with Him.
Godliness is to be our primary goal when it comes to thinking about money and riches. There’s no lasting significance in money, but there is lasting significance in Godliness. God says something like this, “Look, when you live a life of Godliness, this is a life of great gain.” There’s no ultimate meaning in money, but there is ultimate meaning in having a Godly walk with the Lord. You can never lose this. Oh, yes, you can stray from God, but you never lose that relationship with God. It’s eternal! Unlike financial riches, your relationship with God is eternal. It goes beyond the grave, beyond death.
Let Godliness be your primary concern, and out of that will come contentment.

THE MOST AWESOME LOVE OF ALL

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.'" - Matthew 22:36-37

Do you love God more than anyone or anything? Do you love God more today than a year ago? Do you love Him less? Do you love Him about the same? Do you love Christ just as much as you loved Him when you first came to know Him? Nothing is more important than us loving the Lord with all of our being.

So, what does that have to do with WHY we love God? Well, the first thing to realize is that God loves you! God loves you more than anyone on this earth loves you, more than anyone ever will. In fact, 1 John 4:19 says, “We love, because He first loved us.” You see, we love God because He loved us first! And that, my friends, is why we love Him.

In a nutshell, this is Christianity. We love God and love others, but we can only do this when we understand that He loved us first. We don’t naturally love God most. We don’t naturally love others like we do ourselves. We’re all wrapped up in ourselves, our lives, our agendas, and our priorities, yet God keeps loving us. His love never changes.

It amazes me every time I think about the fact that God loved us before we loved Him. And through Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross, we can finally understand that the way to know God is to know Jesus. Then we receive the love of God personally. Our lives are transformed and then we WANT to love God because we truly see that He first loved us!

Has that happened in your life? I hope you won’t let another day go by without experiencing the love of God in Jesus Christ. It is awesome, indeed!

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN PRETENDER?

"Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth." - Job 40:4
This is a special message and it’s one that I didn’t particularly enjoy writing. However, it needs to be said again and again.

This message is to all church-going pretenders out there – the ones who look heavenly on Sunday, but live like hell Monday through Saturday. You look good on the outside, but when God looks at your insides – inside your heart – it’s a dirty mess!

I’ve got bad news for you. Jesus hates religious pretense. But I’ve also got good news. He loves the pretenders! He gave His life for hypocrites like you and me. The end of being a religious pretenders is to admit our sin separates us from God; then ask Christ’s forgiveness; then believe to be right with God is your only hope for change.

And here’s the irony: When we begin to be more real with God and with others, we begin to be more like Jesus. He’s the only person who has ever lived without any trace of pretense.

TESTIMONY TIME: DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL?

"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." - Matthew 4:23
Today as I preached in church with my brothers Erico Otieno andEvangelist Rinei I saw God heal instantly. Frozen legs n hands in pain instantly healed. As I went home God kept reminding me about healing of the body and soul.

The topic of “healing” by God has been and continues to be a hot debate. Yet, in many accounts of the gospels, we see that Jesus physically healed people. As a result of the physical healing, the oppressed, depressed and hopeless were supernaturally cured in more ways than just in their bodies.
Jesus preached about the Kingdom of GOD and healed the sick. In the book of Matthew is full of stories of Jesus healing the sick. But does He still do that today? As the Scripture says in Hebrews, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” There are many skeptics in the world who would say Jesus can’t heal today, but there are millions more who can testify that He does.

The Lord is asking you, “Do you want to be made well?” Whether it be physical healing, spiritual, emotional or financial healing, no thing is too great or too small for our Lord! Perhaps we’ve just forgotten to ask Him and/or we’ve let our faith and trust in Him go by the wayside.
I promise you, He is still healing people today, just as he did over two thousand years ago.
Focus and have faith.

Your Faith Will Triumph - Ev Steve Omodecx

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith(1John 5:4).
Proverbs 22:6 says,“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Imagine that as a Christian parent or a minister of the Gospel, your son or daughter isn’t living according to the training that you gave him or her in the Word. There may be some who’d be quick to judge and say, “So-and-so’s parents are Christians, yet he behaves like a sinner.” If this happened to you as a parent, don’t be moved by what others may be saying.
Challenges come to everybody; so, at the time you’re facing your own challenges, stay focused on God’s Word, and put your faith to work. Soon enough, that child will come into the right place and be all that God destined for him to be. Even the time others might have thought he lost will be regained, because God said, “and I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the Palmer worm…” (Joel 2:25). So in such matters, don’t allow the negative sentiments of others dissipate your faith.

God gave us His Word so that no matter what we see or hear, we’re not distracted; we stay focused. After all, as students, we weren’t Doctors, Lawyers, and Architects whilst in the university. We were in school, being trained for what we were going to be. If someone saw you while still in school and said, “Hey, you don’t look like a Doctor, Lawyer or Architect,” you’d probably have replied, “I don’t look like it yet, because I’m in training for it.”
In like manner, we’re all still being trained by the Spirit of God through the Word to be all He’s destined us to be. If you already have children, keep training them in the Word. Even when it looks like they’re not imbibing the culture of the Word, keep at it. Recall what we read in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Give some time; the results of the training will be evident.
Never give up your faith because of the negative opinions of gainsayers; learn to live by the Word. No matter what you see or experience, your faith will triumph. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, my faith increases as I given myself to the study of your word. I take advantage of the grace that's in Christ Jesus, and to live a life of faith that's based on your word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE BEST GUIDE FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE-Ev Steve Omodecx

"...blessed are they who keep my ways. Heed instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it." - Proverbs 8:32-33
Forget about the teachers strike for a minute and focus here:Public schools or private schools - all schools have gone through and continue to go through a huge paradigm shift. The twentieth century was a time of radical change in our education system, and now in the twenty-first century, the paradigm continues to shift.
The new millennium was ushered in by a dramatic technological revolution. We now live in an increasingly diverse, globalized, and complex, media-saturated society. Couple that with all of the school strikes, cheating by both students and teachers, and now, even questioning the results of some of our schools when they perform extremely well out of the blues or poorly depending on what the society has painted certain schools' performance, then it seems evident that today’s problems are getting worse and growing.
When we hear results like these, we realize the tremendous decline of values in our overall society. From the big to the little people.

I encourage you to look to the Ten Commandments. The fact is, you can’t find better guidance for teaching our children and ourselves how to live a successful life and how to care for our fellow man. So, why not begin by teaching ourselves first then them and the trend will follow to our own grands and great grandchildren? You can find them in the second book of the Old Testament, Exodus 20. Society will be a much better place if we stick with those guidelines.
I thought i should tell you who understands this.

GIVE GOD’S WORD PRIORITY AND SEE GOOD SUCCESS- Jacob Kipkemoi

Joshua 1:8
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
√In life, there is good success and bad success. Bad success is the kind of success which robs you of time with your family, friends and church, and destroys your health and
relationships. With good success, on the other hand, you see prosperity in every area of your life.
√God wants you to enjoy good success and the key to this lies in what God told Joshua when he took over the reins following the death of his leader Moses—“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success.
√Look at how Joshua’s life turned out in the end. When Joshua died, “they buried him within the border of his
inheritance at Timnath Serah, which is in the mountains of Ephraim, on the north side of Mount Gaash”. (Joshua 24:30) Joshua had a whole
mountain for his inheritance! This means that he was prosperous and successful.
√It was also said that Israel served the Lord, not idols or other gods, all the days of Joshua’s life. (Joshua
24:31) This means that while Joshua was around, people were impacted for God’s glory.
√And at the end of his life, a fulfilled Joshua had this to say, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the
Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) Having your family loving God and serving Him with you is the most important success and greatest prosperity that you can ever have.
√Beloved, when God’s Word takes priority in your daily life, not only will your finances be blessed, your
ministry and family life will also be blessed.
THOUGHT FOR THE NIGHT.
Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success.

The Power Of Grace - Ev Steve Omodecx

Grace is an empowerment that releases the gift that has always been in you.
You were born a normal child and u did not know that you are called to be that preacher, that singer, that lawyer until when you began to realize that this is what you wanna do.

By the power of God through grace, you therefore began to pursue that which was in u from conception and even any time you go away from it,there is a part of you that says i need to go back to the what I love, I need to get back to that office, to that church!!! ooh yes!! U got to realize that when we grow from the mere understanding of grace to the application of grace, kingdom mysteries are revealed!!

i feel like preaching!!!!!

LEADERSHIP DOESN'T BEGIN FROM THE PULPIT- Ev Steve Omodecx

Leadership does not begin from the pious/pulpit,it begins from the bench in the congregation.
If as the pastor or leader in church you cannot respect that poor member, that lonely old man, that usher who cleans the chairs every Sunday, that little Sunday school kid who wishes to say hi to you and you snob her off... then you are not fit to be called a leader.
Jesus became the greatest of all leaders ever known because he was down to earth,in humility and full of love for everyone accepted them as they were...
Hey He didn't begin on the pulpit wit the great crowds that followed him,he began in the stinking manger with few cows and his mother and a few herdsmen!! LISTEN: DO NOT DESPISE THE DAYS OF HUMBLE BEGINNING SUCH GOD IS GLORIFIED MORE WHEN U ARE SATISFIED IN HIM....Ooooh Lord its gonna be a powerful weekend i feel it!

GRIEVING IS A PROCESS BE ENCOURAGED- Ev Steve Omodecx

"Therefore, you have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you." - John 16:22
When you lose a loved one, many people tend to sink deep into the dungeons of darkness, and the colors of life fade away. It often makes life so meaningless, and the world suddenly seems to be so barren. Losing a loved one might even bring your life to a halt or make it disoriented.
Some of us have already gone through it, while others will go through this sad phase in life sometime or the other. That’s because death is something that will come to all of us, it’s just a matter of time.
No matter what, losing a loved one or a close friend is never easy, but understanding the stages of grief can sometimes help. Grief involves numbness and denial, promoting an inability to feel when the news of the death arrives, and a sense of disbelief that the person is really gone. It involves tearful emotion as the reality of a permanent separation sets in.
The loss of the loved one can involve anger at God or life as the world continues on when you’re hurting so bad. It can involve depression, or feeling that life is meaningless. Finally, there is acceptance–coming to terms with the loss, and beginning to move on with life.
The grieving process takes time, but it can be overcome. The greatest strength for getting through it is found in the Lord. Remember, God understands your grief. He knows what it’s like to have a child die. He saw His own son, Jesus, die for us all. Loss of a loved one in your life is agreeably the most difficult and traumatic experience. He loves you and wants to help you overcome your grief, if you’ll let Him.
In whatever pain you are going through let God be the final comforter.I am praying for u all. I love u all.

PREACHING IS MEANT TO IMPACT NOT IMPRESS....Pst Kevoh Zeal

The apostles of Christ were not sophisticated or educated men . They were, however, filled with the Spirit. When Peter and John were arrested for preaching and brought before the Sanhedrin, the common consensus was “they were unschooled, ordinary men” (Acts 4:13).
The apostles were simple men. This simplicity carried into their preaching. Paul asserted this when writing to the Corinthians. The city of Corinth was proud, mighty, influential, and educated. Yet Paul wrote in reflection of his first visit: “When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:1,2).
The wise and useful preacher knows the mind of man is not a debating hall, but a picture gallery. The preacher must speak to be understood. Some ministers preach to impress.
WHEN U PREACH TO IMPRESS YOU DON'T IMPACT,IT ONLY LASTS THE MOMENT U ARE ON THE PULPIT AFTER THAT IT FADES AND NOBODY REMEMBERS WHAT YOU DELIVERED AND THAT'S NOT WHAT GOD HAS CALLED US TO DO.THE REASON WHY THE APOSTLES AND THE PROPHETS ARE REMEMBERED TODAY YEARS LATER IS BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO IMPACT.NO COMPROMISE OF THE GOSPEL.
IT IS GOOD TO KNOW YOUR PLACE AND RUN THE RACE TO COMPLETION.NOW EVERY RACE HAS ITS RULES AND REGULATIONS.YOU KNOW YOURS.FOLLOW THEM!
