LEAD US NOT INTO TEMP

...And lead us not into temptations but deliver us from the evil one...Matt 6:13

One of the most powerful prayers yet given less prominence probably dominated by "our needs" prayers. But Jesus knew so he taught the perfect way of
prayer.

The process of temptation is in most cases is as follows:
1.A simple evil thought.
2. A strong imagination, or impression made on
the imagination, by the thing to which we are tempted.
3.Delight in viewing it.
4. Consent of the will to perform it.
*Thus lust is conceived, sin is
finished, and death brought forth.

Matt 4:1- A man
may be tempted without
entering into the temptation:
entering into it implies giving way, closing in with, and embracing it.
Avoiding sin should b one of the primary concerns of a christian life

Psalms 19:13 acknowledges the fact that we cnt live a blameless life without GOD! He has to be in our lives fr us to b innocent of great transgression.

As we enter 2014 I pray that our walk with God may be enlightened within His word _hiding His words in our hearts that we may not sin against Him.
Shalom!

He Is Risen

It Fits The Experience Of Those Who
Trust Him
– The apostle Paul wrote, “If
the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from
the dead dwells in you, He who raised
Christ from the dead will also give life
to you mortal bodies through His Spirit
who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).

This
was the experience of Paul, whose
heart was dramatically changed by the
resurrected Christ. It is also the
experience of people all over the world
who have “died” to their old ways so
that Christ can live His life through
them.

This spiritual power is not
evident in those who try to add belief
in Christ to their old life. It is seen only
in those who are willing to “die” to
their old life to make room for the rule
of Christ.

It is apparent only in those
who respond to the overwhelming
evidence for Christ's resurrection by
acknowledging His lordship in their
heart.

TIME FOR SHOWBIZ IS OVER!

In the bid to look "good and swagged up" in our music videos we loose it.
Yes we loose it.I don't mean to offend anyone but with the continued need for dancers with funny moves, makeup making men look beautiful than handsome, scripts that don't portray God's given message,Trends copied from the world being forced into church.... somewhere along the line our music videos don't portray anything Gospel in them.If we could mute the audio and just watch  the pictures it will be difficult to differentiate between a Gospel music video and a secular music video.

By this I mean we take too much time to showcase how good, swagged and current we are instead of allowing the message sink & minister. When people watch our music they never get the message but in most cases end up admiring the artist,his/her sense of style at the expense of the God given message in the song!

Listen!Listen! Listen!
GOD is not interested in how swagged and current you are.It has never & will NEVER move Him.He says some of these things we do displease Him.God says He's looking for that genuine minister that He wants to raise, that one person that will purpose to pass His message without distortion, He says TIME IS OVER for showbiz!
When the Almighty God spoke to my heart at 4pm on Thursday  I heard & felt GOD lay this in my heart so heavily _I couldn't help but weap & repent.I can still feel this burden upon me.

Listen all ye Gospel artists!
TIME IS OVER FOR SHOWBIZ!!!
Are you among them He's looking for? He spoke to me so clearly about thiz & to my surprise He confirmed the same at the event another event @embassy cinema in Nairobi Kenya.

Lets repent and go back to true undiluted praise and worship to God.In this year He gave you time to change but you haven't Now a new crop of true ministers are being raised to displace those who have continually abused His Grace & favor!

The Lord says!

TIME IS OVER FOR SHOWBIZ!

Shalom!

How Jesus Wants Us To Pray

Prayer is an important tool in the life of everyone. In as much as even non believers have never had an encounter with God for their lives to be transformed, most of them believe in God hence the power of prayer

Instant/direct communication between man and God is done through prayers.Jesus himself usually took time off to pray something his disciples didn't do as often as he did,but with time, they learnt the secret and power within prayers...more reason why they approached Jesus for help.Lets have a clear look at how He taught them:

"Pray, then, in this way..." - Matthew 6:9a NAS

Jesus' disciples asked Him how to pray, because they saw that He often got away to pray. There's no real mystery to praying; after all, you're just talking to your Heavenly Father - your best Friend. But Jesus knew His disciples needed help, as we often do, so here is a summary of what Jesus said to do:

  • Address God as Father. Through Jesus, we can know God personally as our Father - the embodiment of the ideal dad.
  • Praise. Praise His name and character traits. It makes our problems seem small when we remember how great God is
  • Pray for His will to be done. This begins with us, but carries over to praying for others.
  • Pray for daily needs. God wants to meet our needs, but don't confuse needs and wants.
  • Confess your sins. Ask God's forgiveness and ask God's help in forgiving others who have wronged you.
  • Ask for protection and strength in the face of temptation and evil.

Jesus taught the basics on prayer. Whatever else you need to talk with Him about, go ahead and tell Him. Find a quiet spot and give it a try. And, remember, your prayer life gets better with practice.I pray that your prayer life will not just be dry but it will yield fruits and response from God almighty! The prayer of a righteous person!

MONEY FOR MIRACLES?

The society today has welcomed deception and "some pastors" have taken to this to their advantage deceiving the church and defiling the priesthood of this nation.Listen precious people..God's miracles are free.Nobody should tell you to pay/tithe/plant a seed to receive any miracle. Jesus the son of God himself never charged a cent to heal anybody and neither did God charge to send his son to save humankind. First of all to them that received Him He gave them POWER{you have the power to speak to ur situation} to be called SONS of God.You want real miracles, seek Jesus Not Man.We are desperate for quick miracles some which are sought from men and later haunt us in life because we are not rooted to the WORD OF GOD.

Why are we allowing the devil to take over?

We perish for lack of knowledge yet we have an assurance of the same knowledge free of charge{Hosea 4:6}

{James 1:5}
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

(Isaiah 55:1-2)
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.....

Today we have so many false teachers,a true indication of the days we are living in{end times}
Mat 24:3-5,10-11 (NIV) ..."Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Jesus answered, "Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name,.. At that time many will turn away from the faith... and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people."

WATCH OUT,FAST AND PRAY,LET YE BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT,HE WILL TEACH YOU.
SHALOM!

POWER IN PRAISE.

There are times when God doesn't necessarily need you to raise your problems and concerns to Him but He needs you to praise and worship Him in TRUTH to get your breakthrough.Looking at King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:1-37,Through praise and worship to God they had victory!

It would have come as a surprise to them but they obeyed the voice of the LORD and understood the battle wasn't theirs "Vs 15b This is what the LORD says to you: `Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's"
The bible goes ahead to note that: Vs 22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. 23 The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them.

The part i love most is that even after they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, THEY HELPED TO DESTROY/KILL ONE ANOTHER.
God confused them and they ended up finishing themselves.
The problem is we at times make our issues a priority in our prayers,God needs us to be sensitive to His spirit and listen to Him.We have made our problems too much in that a simple prayer of Thanksgiving ends up as a long unending request on how much money we need or perhaps what we need from God,or even how we want our enemies or business rivals to fail.

If only today you realize that your praise to God can be a solution to your problem then seek His face with praise..Get this: After they killed themselves the bible notes that with them there was great plunder, equipments, clothing and articles of value that it took Jehoshaphat's people 3 days to bring to their land.

Listen child of God.Sometimes the enemy attacking you carries with them that which ideally belongs to you.The secret is how genuine is your praise and worship to God that it can rob the devil your blessings for you to retain them?
I pray that may God help us all realize how much he desires from us..Not just in our prayer requests but in our genuine worship to Him.
Shalom.

UNVEILING THE POWER OF PRAYER!

Everyone in life desires to be great! We all want to live an optimal life, one that is worthy of honor that we can leave a legacy for the younger generation behind us. It is also very interesting to know that this was also the very reason why we became Christians because we believe that Jesus Christ not only has the answers to our very needs but also the power to help us live that life because He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
But why is it that for years, many of us have been going through the regular religious routine: going to church and adhering to a list of "dos" and "don'ts" yet we have not seen much results in our lives?
Prayer is a timeless proven key that will unlock the door to your inheritance in Christ. This key has proven to work since the creation of Man and it will work for you too.
Are you struggling with a situation? Do you find yourself restrained from achieving your God-given dreams and becoming all that God has ordained for you? Do you find yourself bound with the same old behavioral or moral habit that seem to cripple you anything you try to progress in life? Then cry No More! Pray and Pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIME TO CHANGE

Are we not tired of the charismatic hype, psychological games and manipulative strategies that is pervading our churches and ministries? Are we not fed up with the sermons that excites us but does not feed us, massages us into rapturous praises but does not impart us for transformation? It is unfortunate that biblical Christianity has declined in our era because our pews are filled with carnal believers who refuse to move into the Spirit or are ignorant of what a true Christian Standard of living is all about. Consequently, we see the rise of perversion of immorality amongst the youth, corruption amongst the leadership and disorientation in the Body of Christ.
It’s time to raise the standard in our generation, empowering you to rise up to God’s original Intention for you through the Word and the impartation of the Spirit for transformation so you can live out the calling God has place on your life.

YES I DO..NT

It is every young and ambitious youths dream to one day walk down the aisle and if not then get married but all in all, it lies in the confines of "Yes I Do..nt." Yeah its either "Yes I do" or "Yes I Don't."Could be "No i Don't" but let’s stick to "Yes i Do.."
Each person loves to have a happy ever after but in most cases little if not much is considered towards getting this happy ever after.

In the recent past we have witnessed or heard of weddings cut short by jilted lovers or bitter rivals for reasons well known, well yes, one which is most common is She/he abandoned me when i most needed him/her or perhaps i have his baby, or even much more interesting, we had married before so i can’t let him/her go, but my quest to write this was to dwell on the yes i do..nt.
So this is one cool morning i am in the grooms procession clad in my new black tuxedo corduroy suit, we have had a lengthy chat the previous night and from the look of things it’s really a blessed day. The guys are looking sharp and composed as well. On our way to pick the bridegroom, one of the groomsmen pops this hard question "Hey Omera What if she says No?"
Everyone goes silent then we break out in laughter but from the look on the grooms face, really he’s startled by that question. I then interrupt with a light cough "Hey guys Omera is having that grooms moment"...it happens, probably when he looks back to reflect at how he is going to miss being a bachelor, sleeping at friends places, sometimes coming home and failing to cook, occasionally leaving his socks on the floor till the weekend when he has to wash all week long clothes and much more funny but crucial is cutting close ties with female friends.

I have known Omera for years. Growing up together as little musketeers. We have each other’s history and so when he goes silent i help him flashback literally. It’s a cool experience that comes with mixed feelings. Perhaps i can equate the feeling to moments when you have tested for a HIV test and you await the results. It’s usually a do or die moment, take it or leave it but it has to dawn.
Madanji’s song "Elekta Nyar Kano" comes from the background, its Omera's phone ringing, He can’t pick so i reach out to the phone, Guess who is calling, Darling...I pass him the phone and he picks with a heavy husky voice  "Yes baby" Of course that's how he has always called her, they have a short conversation and finally there is a sigh of relief as he responds "I can’t wait too and i love you so much"
He smiles and we get back to cracking jokes as we finally enter Darling's parents home. Its pomp, color, song and dance as crowds gather to see their daughter officially taken to her new matrimonial home. Probably with expectations that next time she visits, they will be two in one.
Looking at it from this angle, marital counselors advice that when you are setting your mind towards marriage, its wise that you cut off all ties that might ruin your big day on time and in a good note. I agree to this as it’s a simple thing but if overlooked it could cause a lot of pain and damage to not only the couple but friends and families alike.

When the moment in church finally comes, Omera is here:"Do you take Darling to be your one and only wedded wife in wealth and lack, in good and bad, in health and sickness...till death does you apart?"the priest asked and the whole congregation went mute, i presume that moment of mixed reactions was right at its course, The priest asked again, and for the third time, a baby cried in the crowd! Every eye turned including Darling and Omera but it was nothing serious, just a normal cry of an infant that needs her mother’s attention. Phew! And the church broke into jubilation when he quickly said YES I DO! as if he didn't want to hear that baby cry again, and more so not at such a moment of his life,12:43pm
When Darling's part came She didn't hesitate to Look into the eyes of the man of her life and say YES I DO smiling with deep expectations of the priest saying "You may now kiss the bride." Wedding vows exchanged and the priest declares the two Mr and Mrs Omera with a light but serious touch that she should only kiss her own amid song and dance.

"Josem jonyiego ketho kinda kodi to obong'o nyakalaga nosechano wadagi"(jealous people will come to destroy our love but God has put us together)
It all narrows down to you. Will you say Yes i do..nt?

SIN IS SIN

SIN IS SIN....Giving SIN a good name camouflages & makes it
thrive, that's why today most people sin without knowing because its become normal.it appears OK to blaspheme God & still find its no sin because nobody teaches the right way to walk with God and if any then they are very few;actually the remnants.Identifying with the times and seasons we are living in.
To my understanding in the bible...sin is called with 3 powerful names.
TRANSGRESSION,

INIQUITY,
DISOBEDIENCE
but we baptize them MISTAKES.
Sin is a Sinker of destiny.

lets b wise!Wisdom come from the LORD.

Shalom

TAKING GODS GLORY?

when GOD has given you a platform to bless his people _do you rejoice that people love you or you rejoice that people love God in you?
Do you know some people have been anointed seriously to reach out n change / win souls fr the kingdom of God but reach a point n dilute the anointing _we forget its not by our might but Gods...u get a little celebrity status, people shout n go crazy @ the mention of ur name n u think "this far its my sweat" no wonder it reaches a point n the spirit of God departs .... u start to sail in ur strength n cnt deliver anything anymore! we get slangs that simply give us glory and not God.We start to compromise what to say "will it nice people? "You forget true worship ministers to God first before men..may God open our eyes...thiz is the way that seems good to many but its the wrong way...Let God in u be glorified & not you!!
Note these :
.Ephesians 4:11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

1 Peter 4:10-11...As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

You have to know that you are a manager of the gifts God has given to you. They may be great or small in your eyes, but they matter to God. "Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful" (1Corinthians 4:2 )

If you think your talents are simply for you to make a lot of money, name, retire, and die, you’ve missed the point of your life. God gave you talents to glorify Him & not you_serve n benefit others, not yourself. And God gave other people talents that glorify him & benefit you. We’re all a part of the body of Christ, and each part matters. There are no insignificant people in the family of God. You are shaped to serve God, and he is watching you to see how you are going to use the talents he gave you. Whether you are a musician or a preacher, a teacher or a dancer, God gave you those abilities to for what??? Think n dont b blindfolded by the devil . if you use your talents wisely,God will give you more. If you use your time wisely, God will give you more time. If you use your energy wisely, God will give you more energy. If you use your influence wisely, God will increase your influence. God will bless your level of faithfulness.

The bible in colosians 3:23_25...Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.
Finally:  Philippians 2:5-11
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the lik
eness of men.8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

As the Lord directs lets strive to Give Him all the glory He deserves and He will uplift us.

LETS PRAY:
Lord, I thank you for the talents you have given each and everyone of us.Help us Lord, not to bury it in the ground as the third servant did, but instead let us follow the example of the first two servants and use our talents to bring glory and honour to your name and build up your kingdom. Help us to be humble and realise that we all need each other.Remind us that the talents we each have can be beneficial to others in some way. Lord, once again we thank you and we ask this in Jesus’ name.Amen

THE POWER WITHIN PATIENCE

There is power in waiting upon the Lord...When God directed the Israelites to leave Egypt to the promised land He knew that His words must come to fulfilment _He gave them power to trample on snakes & scorpions but they wouldn't hurt them,
He provided for them in the wilderness but He didnt guarantee them that they wouldn't face challenges _Of course He knew there was a red sea somewhere & He would make a way but they saw impossibilities @ that point...Its here that the Israelites remembered graves and food in Egypt, they didnt remember what God had done fr them from the plagues to Exodus ....and thats what the devil is reminding you....making you forget GODs faithfulness ...

The Lord is closer than a brother, He cares about you, He wont put you to shame, that which seems impossible is possible with Him... Will you stand fr Him or put Him to shame? The choice is yours child of GOD!

GODS VIEW IS NOT MANS VIEW

God does not see as we see. Abraham was a childless, 100- year-old man. His wife, Sarah, at 90 years old, was doubly dead in her womb. (Genesis 17:17) Yet, God saw him and talked to him as if he were already the father of many nations.
My friend, God wants you to see the way He sees. Right now, you may see yourself going through a trial in your marriage, work, finances or health. But God sees a blessed marriage, success at work, supernatural provision and a healed body because He tells you that you are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
You see, God sees you in Christ. So when you see yourself in Christ, who is outside time, you step into the timeless zone. In that timeless zone in Christ, whatever needs and trials of yours are already removed, repaired, restored or resurrected! In that timeless zone in Christ, you are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places!
