However, if it is of God you will go from strength to strength, from increase to increase, from success to success and from victory to victory, while those who stand opposed to you will find themselves fighting not only against you but also against God.
When i was reading ACTS CHAPTER 5 on Ananias and Saphira i realized on thing:
The sin of Ananias and Sapphira did not consist in the withholding of part of the money but in their deception of the community. Their deaths came as a result of a lie to the holy Spirit (Acts 5:3, 9), i.e., they accepted the honor accorded them by the community for their generosity, but in reality they were not deserving of it.THEY CHOSE TO SO IT THERE WAY AND NOT GODS WAY!
In the second account of Acts 5:38-39>...For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself.But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God.”
Today you may be facing a similar situation,you may be that person who is always on the receiving end But YOU KNOW ITS GODS WAY,hold on tight,press on for them who fight you will give up and salute you,You may be that person who does it the Ananias & saphira way,Stop it and DO IT GODS WAY,
Many a times (Galatians 3:3)After beginning with the Spirit; are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?”You think to yourself, “I can do it all by myself now, I will rely on my own abilities rather than God’s leading and gifts. I will listen to my own heart rather than the voice of the Holy Spirit.” You most certainly cant do anything without CHRIST who strengthens you!
I challenge us to RISE UP to the occasion and DO IT GODS WAY FOR NO MAN WILL STOP THAT WHICH HE(GOD)BEGAN IN YOU AND HE SHALL SEE IT TO COMPLETION.
