When a Christian and for this matter a clergy person looks for money many people will say “Money is not a spiritual issue” Really? Many of you feel there is no need for the church to focus on something as worldly as money.
Well not bad,but tonight as i sat in office, i began thinking and ended up compiling a little detailed issue concerning money: MONEY IS GOOD AND MONEY IS BAD,MONEY IS A BLESSING AND MONEY IS A CURSE!

First, i have been doing alot of outreach missions and events and for sure if God didnt bring money my way with my team then we could not pull through, many times we need to fuel the vehicles we use for ministry and even feed people who attend our meetings.
When i look at the word of God,i see money talked about which makes me assured money is not only for the world, infact ,the church and men of God need more money to spread the gospel than the world! Yes!

in Matthew 6:21 the bible says “..for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” A closer look at the Sermon on the mountain, i realize 25 of the 107 verses in the Sermon on the Mount deal with money and possessions and two-thirds of the parables of Jesus deal with money and possession themes.
For example:
The parable of the Good Samaritan—one that contrasts stealing and greed with compassion and generosity.
The parable of the prodigal son – the younger son who wanted all of his inheritance right then and he lost it all through selfish pleasure.
The parable of the talents – in the Bible, talents mostly refer to money and investments. Jesus is very clear in the parable of the talents that we’re to multiply whatever talents, whatever money, whatever investments God has entrusted to us. To ignore that makes us irresponsible servants of the Master.

Solomon built God a precious temple and that costed money because he had to get the best of the best for God.
A look at Job in the bible he was a rich man who had alot of things with him, that's wealth....and so on....

So, money is a deeply spiritual issue,The big debate lies on how we use our money and what it does to us. Its very clear that how we use our money reveals what we think about God. How we use it reveals our hearts. Money can be a blessing or a curse.
If a brother approached you and said "i am hungry" will you tell him "i will pray for you" or you go into your pocket and buy him food if u have cash? Money has answers to most problems man has but It all depends on what priority it has in your life. Let it be your servant for good not your master. Choosing Christ over money is the key.
God bless you as you support Gods work as He directs you,in your church or in whatever place He sends you to support for GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER,A HAND THAT GIVES SHALL RECEIVE!
